Company registration details are being confirmed. This page will be completed before sales open.
1. Purchases and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for our orders. Paddle handles payment-related customer service inquiries and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
2. License
When you buy a license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on Macs you own or control, according to the plan you purchased.
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, redistribute or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows.
3. Lifetime license and updates
A lifetime license is a one-time payment that lets you use the Software for as long as it is offered for your version of macOS and Final Cut Pro.
Update coverage will be described on the pricing page before sales open. It has not been determined yet.
4. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Our Refund Policy explains the process and conditions.
5. Your content
Videos, audio, transcripts and captions are processed on your Mac. They are not uploaded to us. You keep all rights to your content.
6. Requirements and availability
The Software requires a Mac with Apple silicon and compatible versions of macOS and Final Cut Pro. Check the requirements on the pricing page before purchasing.
Final Cut Pro is a product of Apple Inc. and is purchased separately. MasterCaption is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
7. Warranty and liability
The Software is provided ‘as is’, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The last updated date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
